Company Profile: Shewski Roofing, Inc. is a full service roofing company. We specialize in reroofing and repairs. We give free estimates and are state licensed and fully insured. Dave Shewski has been in the roofing industry for over 30+ years, beginning in Maryland in 1975 and then becoming a roofing inspector out of New Jersey before moving to Florida and forming Shewski Roofing, Inc. in 1979. Shewski Roofing is a family owned roofing business, with Dave's wife Linda overseeing the office and their daughter Teri having a supporting role handling customer service and other business aspects of our Company. Many of our dedicated employees have been with our Company for over 10 years and take pride in the work they do. We are members of the Sarasota, Venice, and Manatee Chambers of Commerce, and the Better Business Bureau of West Florida. Shewski Roofing, Inc. is also a member of the NRCA (National Roofing Contractors’ Association), the FRSA (Florida Roofing, Sheet Metal, and Air Conditioner Contractors’ Association), and the SMRSMCA (Sarasota Manatee Roofing and Sheet Metal Contractors’ Association). Dave served as President of the SMRSMCA for the term 1996/97, and has served in various officer positions within FRSA since 2003. Dave was elected President of FRSA for the 2005/06 term and will serve as Immediate Past President for 2006/07. Additionally Dave has served on the Board of Directors of FRSA since 1994 and is currently serving on several key committees that are formulating policies that will standardize the industry in the years to come. In 1998, Dave earned the prestigious title of CPRC (Certified PRofessional Roofing Contractor) under a program sponsored by the FRSA. To qualify, a contractor must fulfill strict requirements involving examination, financial fitness, and personal and professional references. He joins a select group of approximately 75 contractors state-wide who have qualified for the CPRC designation since the program's inception in 1962. |
